3-Minute Presentation

Eligibility

Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral students are eligible for this event
Presentation type: Presentation of original research

Themes:

  1. Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biotechnology
  2. Pharmaceutical Education, Social and Administrative Pharmacy, and Clinical Pharmacy
  3. Pharmaceutic and Drug Delivery System
  4. Herbal Medicine and Natural Products

Rules

  1. Participants provide abstract and a 3-minutes recorded video.
  2. Only one presentation slide is permitted, without slide transitions, animations or ‘movement’.
  3. The slide is to be presented from the beginning of the oration.
  4. Additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are not allowed.
  5. Video presentations are limited to maximum for 3 minutes, participants whose exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.
  6. Video must show the presenter and the slide.
  7. Presentations are to be spoken word (i.e. no poems, raps or songs).
  8. The decision of the judge is final.
  9. Participants who are selected into the final round will present the 3-MP presentation live in the conference.
  10. Presentation in English


Judging Criteria

The participant will be judge by the following criteria:

Content

  1. Research background and its significance.
  2. Key results of the research are describes
  3. Conclusions and outcomes
  4. Logical sequence of the presentation
  5. Background information is provided to illustrate points
  6. Time proportion of each element of the presentations

Engagement and Communication

  1. Presentation encourage the audience to know more.
  2. Presentation carefully not to trivialize or generalize their research.
  3. Presenter show enthusiasm for their research.
  4. Presentation capture and maintain audience’s attention.
  5. Presenter’s confidence, stage presence, eye contact and vocal range.
  6. Slide should enhance the presentation
  7. Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.

Winner

Each theme will be selected 3 presentations and the presenters will commence their presentation in final round.
Three presentation will be selected for the first, second and third winner.
Favorit video will be choose based on online vote/like number.
